Daily Operation ⏪️ July 2020

As all outside group activities were still on pause, pondering the uncertainty of our reality was one of the only daily collective exercises to participate in. With the new policies do to social distancing, by the time I returned from trips to the grocery store, my nervous system was ready to be home, amongst the safety of my nuclear unit. As we were hearing the reports of the numbers of COVID-19 rising by the day, with the illness’ symptoms being similar to a cold, and just as easy to contract, being outside was similar to being in the M. Night Shyamalan movie, “The Happening”. All that aside, I was still able to enjoy the stillness and beauty everywhere my (our) walks would take me (us). Can’t let a little pandemic steal all your joy. Gotta take time to admire and smell the flowers! Looking back now, this grouping of images makes me feel like observing a farmer, minding his business, tending to the garden, in the midst of surrounding chaos.
