This August turned out to be the most important month of my life to date. As I mentioned in the last installment, I was searching for a new place, as my daughter’s arrival date was fast approaching—this was the month!

Fortunately, we secured a place and moved in at the start of the month. While preparing for our new addition, I also began getting acquainted with our new neighborhood and city. The universe was kind in placing us amidst so much inspiration for me to discover in my new home. It helped me embrace the fact that one chapter had closed, while another was just beginning.

By month’s end, we were officially parents—and I had a whole new life.
