BTS : Olot - Video Shoot (7.19.26)

Sunday, July 19, 2026 (Washington, D.C.) - One of my favorite things to do is observe life, especially in environments when friends are together, and I can be like a fly on the wall, candidly capturing moments that would otherwise be missed. These moments are so special because there is something about when you aren’t trying to do something, you get to see people’s most authentic self. It’s a certain beauty that cannot be recreated or staged. So it’s a special thing for me to be invited into a space when art is being created or performed.

This afternoon my bro Olot, was shooting a music video, and asked me to stop thru.

He hadn’t given me all the particulars about what was going on, but if the homie ask me to pull up, one must just stay ready.

When I arrived, he was outside, setting up to shoot a scene, which he happened to ask me to be in a shot, while taking some shots (you can see what I shot below) - which was a first for me, and a new experience to add to the list!

After that, we went upstairs, to one of his friend’s apartment, that was being used for some interior shots of a Kickback/House party scene. The space, filled with good energy and laughter, emanating from a small contingency of supporters, cooking, conversing, cracking jokes, all present to play their part!

I was also in some interior shots, and then I went into my mode, catching some candids.

Looking forward to seeing the finished product, but truly enjoyed being there to witness the process. Thanks again for the invite!
