Complex's Family Style Food Fest - 7.11.26

Saturday, July 11, 2026 (Pier 36, NYC) - We love food and never miss an opportunity to see Ms. Whack, so of course we had to hit the Complex Family Style Food Fest in NYC.

I’m just going to say if you buy a vip pass, get there early! We didn’t, so the food was limited by the time we arrived. And we weren’t super late, but anytime there is “complimentary” items, they go fast.

I did discover this fire Cucumber drink from Aunts et Uncles (Brooklyn,NYC), definitely going to visit the shop!

The highlight of the day was definitely the performance.

Tierra Whack is literally a breath of fresh air. Original, lyrical, imaginative, and her stage presence is that of a seasoned vet. You can’t box her style into one thing. Besides being super talented, she is just an awesome person.

Definitely one to watch, and I know we will be, for years to come.

I was able to get a few good shots that evening, so the day’s outing was a success!
